The Antelope Valley's Status as a wine producing region has quietly built some steam over the last few years. From Agua Dulce to Tehachapi local growers and vintners are winning awards and serving notice that our High Desert provides some ideal conditions to produce an excellent wine.

Did you know there are more than 30 vineyards and at least 5 winerys in the Antelope Valley and surrounding High Desert. Winemaking goes back to the very roots of our community. The early German settlers brought thier winemaking skills and up until prohbition this was a vital part of AV life. Currently, area wine production is at an all time high and the quality and reputation of the local offerings has never been better.
